Demian Martin is a widely
experienced industry consultant specializing in systems design
covering electronic, electrical and acoustical products for
manufacturers.
He is also the
senior product designer for ELEMENT, specializing in advanced
loudspeaker systems. He has designed several major speaker systems and
a self powered subwoofer line for ELEMENT. He has contributed two
patents to ELEMENT.
He is
currently the Senior Technical Resource for Monster cable. He
is responsible for keeping Monster cable current on the
industries technical issues and making sure that the products work
with the industry standards. For Monster he has supervised the
development of many cable products, accessories to enhance the
utility of those cable systems and the power product line. He directed
and set the design and system format for the Monster power
line. He has been awarded several key utility patents at Monster and
has a number still pending. His design for the M 2.2 and M 2.4 speaker
cables won the Golden Note award from the audio industry.
He has a number of other consulting clients in areas ranging from RF
systems to AC power products.

Martin has a long, distinguished
history in the audio industry. He was Co-founder and Director of
Engineering of Spectral Audio where he designed an impressive
number of high quality and durable electronics products. He was
responsible for the design and engineering of Spectral’s very
low noise preamplifiers including the DMC-10. He also designed
Spectral’s wide band power
amplifier the DMA-100 Instrumentation Amplifier. The DMA-100 was six
years in development and brought about a new performance benchmark in

amplifier design.
Many of the products that he designed while at Spectral have had a
market life of over ten years.
In 1983,
Martin founded Entertainment Technologies where he designed and
manufactured high-end loudspeaker systems, analog servo systems, low
noise preamplifiers, power amplifiers and control circuits. He also
directed international marketing efforts with the company’s
distributors.
His
impressive credits include design and redesign projects for a variety
of audio companies. For Sound Technology, he re-engineered an older
line of products to extend their lives. For Rockport Technologies,
Martin designed a precision motor controller system for the company’s
premier product and the electronics for an amplified subwoofer
system. For Crosby Audio Works, he designed and supervised the
initial production of a line of high-end consumer audio products
including preamps, power amps, loudspeakers and subwoofers. |
